(LOS ANGELES) -- At least three people, possibly including the shooter, were shot at Terminal 3 at the Los Angeles International airport Friday morning.
A federal law enforcement source confirms that one of the victims, a Transportation Security Administration officer, is now dead.
The shooter has been taken into custody.
The conditions of other victims are unknown.
Terminal 3 has been evacuated. The L.A. Fire Department said law enforcement is on the scene of the "multi-patient incident." LAPD has declared a citywide tactical alert.
LAX reports that "other than arriving flights, flight operations have been temporarily held."
The investigation is still ongoing.
