KLMS is ESPN 1480, Lincoln’s ONLY all sports station. We are the home of Mike & Mike, Colin Cowherd, Jim Rome, Steven A. Smith and former Husker Blackshirt Jason Peter, Chris Schmidt and Jeff Wilkerson as hosts of The Spread.
As Lincoln's Home for Sports, KLMS serves as the voice of the high school sports in Lincoln carrying prep football and basketball plus the Friday Night Scoreboard Show. KLMS also carries the Kansas City Royals and ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball during the summer months plus the playoffs and World Series. During the fall, KLMS becomes the football capital of your radio world by carrying a comprehensive package of college games during the regular and post-season. When it comes to the pro games, you'll find NFL tripleheaders on Sundays and KLMS is the exclusive home of Monday Night Football in Lincoln.
Having started in 1949, KLMS has gone through format changes ranging from Top 40 to “New Age,” before settling into the role as Lincoln’s only all-sports station on June 3, 1997.
KLMS became a full-time affiliate of ESPN Radio on December 13, 2000, giving Lincoln a strong all-sports voice.
KLMS is owned by Three Eagles Communications, and shares facilities with KFOR-AM, and Chapin Properties, KFRX-FM and KRKR-FM.
